Come for the weekend
Late May in Savannah is warm evenings, shady squares and very good food. Here’s how to get there.
Flying in
Savannah/Hilton Head (SAV) is about 20 minutes from the historic district. Jacksonville (JAX) and Charleston (CHS) are each about two hours’ drive, often with more flights.
Getting around
The Palmetto Club is on Skidaway Island, about 25 minutes south of downtown. Downtown is made for walking, square to square; rideshares are easy for everything else.

Savannah has plenty of places to stay, and we know many of you will be traveling to celebrate with us. Here are a few downtown hotels to help you get started, with a range of options to explore:

- It’s an adults-only celebration, so call the sitter and make a night of it.
- When do we RSVP?
- When your invitation arrives in the spring. For now, just keep the date free.
- What should I wear?
- The dress code is formal. We look forward to celebrating with you dressed for the occasion!
